Bring It Back

This is my first entry here on Metropolis, why I decided to open this blog , I have no idea, but we shall see what comes of it.  Stories and entries shared on this blog will be based upon accounts of real people and situations - these are not actors.  Please join me here on Metropolis as we journey to find the truths behind human nature, the human psyche, sexuality, religion, politics, spirituality, health and just whatever I feel like speaking on from day to day.  My opinion and the way I view life and its many courses, may not agree with you, but that doesn't mean that we can't talk about it.  Please share your thought and/or your experiences.

Now, I have to admit that I absolutely love this guy Bruno Mars.  His creativity and his expression, and yes, his beautiful smile :-).  While listening to his song "Grenade", (that I have attached) there was a hole that opened up in my heart.  I thought, "who does this guy think he is fucking with my emotions as I'm driving up the iced over Atlanta roads.  I teared up.  The lyrical content, and his delivery was so touching, (and those of you who love me, know that I love MUSIC).  This is the first song I've heard in 2011 that has brought tears to my eyes.  Thanks Bruno aka Superman <3

What ever happened to the type of love that Bruno described in this song?  And can somebody please, "Bring It Back"?  There is no more true love.  I've seen it, and I do see it, but I'm not happy with the capacity or the number of times that I've seen it displayed amongst the human race, especially within my race. I missed it, I guess.  I wish that I were born maybe 10 years earlier than my birth date, because maybe I would have had an opportunity to see it and have it for what it is truly worth.  I'm speaking on relationships.  I say relationships because that is what the song and the video depict.  Short,Simple, and Sweet.

Women.  Why do we feel like anyone who wants to get to know us or takes us out on a date needs to be top notch, "payin like they weighn'", and able to take you shopping on a regular basis just to get some attention, and your stankin ass can't even care for your damn self?  Maybe that's the answer right there.  Be straight up with people you encounter.  When it comes to personal matters and people that have some sort of fraction in your life, keep it real with them.  Ladies stop being so superficial.  Take a deep breath and take a look at yourself - from the inside out.  You're only fooling yourselves.  I can't blame men for being the thirsty dogs that they are now, nor can I blame how some of them treat women.  A lot has changed - I'm not that old, but I can relate. 

Every relationship isn't meant to last, and not everyone deserves your "special" kind of love and attention, but why not make the best of it by loving whole-hearted for a change and not base our level of love on what or how much another person can give us.  Then I forget too that you have to be very careful with who you give your heart to.  But, what about when you invest those 2 years on up and shouldn't have even allowed that relationship live past a year.  But "he's just so good to me"... Right.  Leave that man alone.

Men. you guess are something else and I am appaud!!  You greedy, scum sucking sons of bitches ought to be ashamed of yourselves!! You go to bed every night happy and unsympathetic knowing that you mean no good to the broken-spirit woman.  You wine and dine her, spend money to entice her weak ass, fuck her until your tired of her and your mind feels its time to stick your dick in the next hot thang. You Bitches!! What A Man, What A Man, What A Mighty good man...  You of all people should be the main ones keeping it real, based on the reputation you already have.  You're expected to lie, cheat, steal, and kill.  That's what is expected of you.. Some women are succas and vulnerable to every trick in the book.  I have to stand on your side too because if a woman would let me treat her how ever I want and I can still get out of her what I want, then why not take advantage of her, and break her down to little pieces, right?  Because I have a heart and morals, I have a mother and sisters,  etc. ya think. 

We have lost touch of what love is, the feeling of being loved, we have lost our self-respect and dignity.  Were a selfish and unworthy people.  We have abused love and kept it from our youth for a generations.  We have to get back to loving ourselves, loving our families, loving the helpless, loving our lovers, our friends, the earth.  Love heals All things I believe.  Can we please bring it back to where we'll sacrifice anything to prove our love.  Somethings and some people are worth it.

Born Leaders

Well, I have asked a few people this question and most of them believe that there are Born Leaders. I agree, to some extent. Let me explain my reason.

Every one man has A Walk, A Journey, A Life! I don't know about you but I Am A Leader. But I was born to be Great, I was born to succeed, I was born to make a difference in the world and in the people around me. But, will I live up to this reality? Can I accept this challenge, this awakening, without any fear or resistance? I can. I can now. I couldn't though without going through some situations and some people, yes - people, and don't get it twisted.

President Barack Obama for instance, being sworn into presidency is a part of his life's plan. It starts at home, your up bringing and your surroundings. You have to go through obstacles and courses. Now if you fail, if you recognize your decline, dust yourself off and try again.

My whole look on it is this, You Have To PASS THE TEST!! TEST after TEST after TEST. I don't know about you, but I dont want for some one without the needed substance to be my guide or to lead me into Anything! Anywhere. I'll listen to you and hear you out, but if it sounds and looks like a pig, its a pig. LOL Or however that saying goes.

We all have this power within us, but who is willing to step up to the plate.
